Cheesequake State Park

Cheesequake State Park is one of the Old Bridge’s significant attractions. The park is located in the suburban south and the urban north in a transitional zone between two different ecosystems. The park features a northeastern hardwood forest, pine barons, a white cedar swamp, freshwater and saltwater marshes, and an open field in its 386-acre. If you want to see a terrific instance of vegetation change from a coastal salt marsh habitat to upland forests, this state park is ideal for such experience with different trails running through the park.
